I'm so sorry Mare lost her brave battle. I didn't know her well, but believe she was a great lady. My deepest sympathies go out to her family and friends.

My first news of the day was Mary, it will take a while to get over that, one of the early internet friends I made. I have pictures of her on my computer that rotate along with other family members on screen saver, better days for sure.

We have been gone all day and just now found out about our wonderful Mare. She was such a wonderful friend for many years. She had my deepest respect for fighting both COPD and cancer with all she had. May she rest in peace and may her family find comfort in warm memories.

I'm so sad to hear about Mary. This has truly been a sad day. My thoughts and blessings go out to her family. Mary and I exchanged e-mails once in a while and I considered her a friend. Several people have also stated that Mary was a good friend. I guess that just shows the kind of person she was. She will be missed.

Dear Forum Family, I have just read about Mare and John UK. I am at a loss for words and tears do not feel like enough right now, although they both are at rest they have left a terrible void.
Love and prayers Jackie

Blossom/Jackie, gosh, I read that post of yours on December 25th and I almost forgot where you were then. You have come so far. You and Dray have a lot to celebrate this year. Many of the people here now did not know Mary. For the ones of us that did know her, I cannot let the day go by without recognizing her. This is one of my very sincere postings. It has been a year since you left us Mary and altho it has been a long year, it does not seem that long since you left. I honestly think of you everyday. MaryKY had a way of leaving a very lasting affect on people whose lives she touched. I still miss you very much and shed a tear or two while scrolling down these memories. God Bless You and this rose is for my love for you, a good friend. IN LOVING MEMORY,MARYKY, Rest in Peace

As a child I saw a movie called How Green Was My Valley, it was a dreary tale placed in a Welsh mining town, it would have gone from my memory except for a line. "Nobody is ever truly dead while the living remember them" That may not be word for word but the meaning of those words remain with me.
