Just filled in membership form and wondering what happens now. As a senior, am a little slow at figuring things out. Have not yet received acknowledgement nor picked a password, do I have to wait for that before coming into forum? Thanks Betty
P.S. Hope I know how to find my way back to the answer. Or could you use my email if I shouldn't be using this forum yet? elear@sympatico.ca

Hi Elizabeth. The COPD membership is different than this forum. You'll need to register separately. When you first come to the forum it will say "welcome guest"....right at the very top. It will also say "login" or "register". Hit "register" to pick a name and password for this forum. After that you would just "login".
Guests can post but only members of the forum can see all the sections. As a member you also can see which ones you've read and which you haven't.
When you register go way down the form. It will have country etc. It's nice to know what area you are from since meds, gov't, etc. are different everywhere. We can be of more help that way. Glad you joined. Hope we can help.
Come to "over the back fence...daily meet and greet"...it's under the "general" section..

Well Miss Liz (if I may) otherwise please let me know... I see that our lovely Western Cdn Hostess Sandy has greeted you and hopefully has supplied the info you needed! Here; e'one tries to help and support e'one, so, in time I hope that you'll feel right at home. You threw me for a loop initially.... then I assumed you'd joined our main organization today (hadn't heard back from yet but I'm confident you will  ) and as Sandy was telling you, this forum is part of, but operated seperate from in many ways becasue it's a public forum. So; join up (for here), the other you'll hear on and lets get to know you shall we? If you have problems getting going, we'll help you out just as Sandy did! And the Admin's will help as well. You just gotta speak up like you did now! As for being a senior; honey; you're in good company. Many of our folks are.  P.S. I'm taking the liberty of slightly alterting your e address.
