Dear, Dear Wilma.... Today I seem to be amazed by the ladies who are newcomers here! They have challenges and yet are facing them head on! It is our pleasure to Welcome You! And you can practise your English all you want! Ask questions, share, have a coffee with us..... whatever you're comfortable with is fine with us. We know of Klass through Helen and at times it feels like we've known him "here" as a member as well. We're all in the same rowboat with COPD regardless of where we live. So; my dear....... it is sooo very very nicve to have you! Perhaps at some point you'll join our parent organization. ... COPD Canada Patient Network. We have many International members Here's the form copdcanada.ca/sign_up.htmMeanwhile..... my name is Jackie, also known as Blossom. We look forward to getting to know you better Wilma.

Uploaded with ImageShack.usIt is very nice to have you join us, Wilma. I am sure we are as interested in you and your life as you are in ours here on the other side of the world. We are so very sorry that Klaas is having such a difficult time and know how hard that must be for you. What type of town/city/village is Arnhem? Is it large or small? I live in the country outside of a small village not too far from a small city. Has the Spring weather started where you live yet? Hope you come often and practice your English on us, maybe teach us something, too. Sue

Hi Wilma, Welcome to the forum. I just wanted to say how much I admire you and the Dutch people for their effort to speak other languages, especially English. We native speaking English are generally really very lazy at learning other languages and expect all others to understand us. This goes for Anneloes too, who has just posted here. Keep up the good work, you are doing marvellously.

Welcome Wilma ...... you are going to be great at picking up English, because you are not vain, thus you willtry new words ans see that they are spelled different than you think or do not have the exact meaning that you intend ...... but with every attempt YOU will learn. Welcome again
