Who should make morning coffee???

A man and his wife were having an argument about who should brew the coffee each morning.

The wife said, "You should do it because you get up first, and then we don't have to wait as long to get our coffee.

The husband said, "You are in charge of cooking around here and you should do it, because that is your job, and I can just wait for my coffee."

Wife replies, "No, you should do it, and besides, it is in the Bible that the man should do the coffee."

Husband replies, "I can't believe that, show me."

So she fetched the Bible, and opened the New Testament and showed him at the top of several pages, that it indeed says .......... "HEBREWS"

Very good Spike. Do you make the coffee? Tom always put our first pot on when he gets up to let the dogs out. That way it is usually done before they wake me up on returning.

No. I don't make coffee. I can't even boil water. My wife is an insider person and I'm an outside person. We're both from traditional deep farming country. She does the inside stuff and I do the outside stuff. When I need a coffee during the day, I yell in the house door and tell her to make it. She jumps up and makes it. And at the other end of the scale... If she needs some maintenance task done inside, she yells outside and tells me to run in and fix it. She does the meals, cleaning and coffee making. I do inside / outside repairs and when needed, come running to her rescue. This inside / outside boundary line works for us...

Yes that is the way I was raised and believe. But, out of necessity Tom now does it. I don't think either of us like it that way but hey better than me not being here.
