I'm carrying this over from the COPD area....... I just got off the phone with Antoinette.... She got the CALL! And is headed to the hospital. (She was about to head out to pick up Chineese food) I'm gonna start a thread in Thoughts and Prayers but I wanted to share this with you all! All I know is that it's hopefully to be a double, it's someone local and with any luck they told her she'll be in surgery by 6 pm! Let's pray that it's not a false alarm and still a go and that all goes well during the surgery! Let's also pray for the kindness of a stranger and their family. What a gift to be willing to give another! Antoinette said to tell you all that.... no matter what happens, keep your heads up and keep fighting and going. Antoinette....... our thoughts, prayers are with you and fingers crossed.... And.... the candle is lit for you Antoinette..... With love and prayers......  |

I hope you are able to remain calm and cool and strong throughout the whole procedure. Antoinette, May the Lord be with you and I will be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. I am so happy for you. Let's hope the lungs are good and your surgery goes well. Keep positive, and I bet your second meal will be chinese. Stay strong and relaxed.

I was awake a fair bit last night, thinking, wondering, hoping.... the whole nine yards. Guess I should have gotten up to check. Well; it didn't happen today...... and I hope you're not too disappointed....A good practise run though! I was amazed how calm, cool and collected you were when you called. Wow! Heck, I was more keyed up than you  . So; we'll all continue our vigil and wait with you if you don't mind...... it'll happen.... We love you....... |

Oh I am so close to tears now, thank you all for the love and prayers.
Jackie, I am so sorry, but it was kinda late and I didnt want to wake you to tell you it was a no go.
I was unbelieveably calm..it must be because all of you carried me.
I love yu all and thank you so so much for being a part of my family and support.
