We have a member here on the forum, and a member of our organization (COPD Canada Patient Network), who is having such a rough go, as in a terrible time right now. Tequila...... She's in the hospital I've been told. Some of you may be familiar with her story and situation, many more may not. If you want to meet a strong lady, and maybe leave a post on her blog...... it would truly be appreciated. fearnotwoman.blogspot.com/

Thank you for sharing this with us, Blossom. I ocassionally read Tequilla's blog, but not for a long time. What a warrior this woman is, is she not? God bless her and the strength she has been given and the strength she gives to all of us fighting in our own ways. She reminds me of my mother in so many ways, never complaining, just going ahead and doing what needs to be done without a word of discouragement. Showing more concern for others than for herself.
Of course I'll be praying for her and encouraging everyone who wants to meet a great lady to go to the blog and introduce yourself. You won't be sorry.

Jackie, Susan or anyone interested, read her updated blog from yesterday. She will be going into hospice. She put a post up on the CI board. I thought you would want to know since you had this previous post up. It is sad She has put up a brave fight and still positive with plans. fearnotwoman.blogspot.com/

Thank you, Mary. What a wonderful example of a fighter Tequilla is. I wish there was more positive news, but know from experience (not my personal own) that she is making the right choice at this time. I could never say enough good things about hospice and the people who choose to work there
I don't know anything about pagan beliefs, but will continue to pray for her in my own belief and know that it is helping her with her coping skills. Bless this woman.

Tequila ; You are in my prayers . I have learned that fear can only live in a heart without any faith . It sounds like you are abundant in faith .

Mary; Thank You...... I just read her blog updates. I've gotta give her credit and big time kudos! Through all of this, she remains upbeat and working no less! My kinda lady and certainly someone I would love to meet in person. I have a little bit of knowledge re: Cancer, Palliative Care and the primary aim/goal is one of patient comfort. The decision however for a patient to "choose" it takes tremendous psychological courage and strength. Tequila more than pocesses these attributes and more..... I will definitely say prayers and send Sarah over for company.
