Welcome to the group Sue/Soo ?? I have been on Euro Fer for over a year now, and take B12 shots monthly for over 3 yrs now, I don't know if there is a conectioon to the COPD or not, never really thought about it. I think you will find a lot of info to help you here and a warm, caring group of people.

Hi Sue. I'm also taking B12. I think the reason so many people are taking it is because they just started checking for it (and Vit.D) recently...when doing blood tests. I'm feeling better after taking it and Vit.D for a few months now. They've never said my iron is low tho.
AND...welcome to the forum and the world of computers.

Welcome, Ontario Sue! I am another Sue, but I made myself Susanny as I am from New York State in the US. Seems like there's always a lot of Sues everywhere i go, . I also get B12 injections, but I started needing them long before I got COPD. I have an absorption problem with most foods and this is why I get the shots and not take the pills. I also have a hard time walking since last summer and am unable to use my treadmill anymore. This is not good for both my legs and my lungs. Good luck with your PFT today and let us know what your results are. You know you can ask (and have the right to receive) the results of your test, don't you? It's good for you to have for your own records and it's also helpful when asking us for assistance on something sometimes and lets us know where you are in the scale of severeness of your disease. Why don't you join us some day over at the "Fence" and introduce us to your day. Maybe you can tell us a little more about yourself, too. I am married, have two grown children, and have been retired from the school system since 2008. We live in the country, my husband and I. Anything else you want to know? Take care, Sue (Susanny)

Welcome to the group Ontario Sue - I'm Suzanne - also known as suzthewooz or just Suz.... I'm also from Ontario but am french so you can be Ontario Sue and I can be Frenchie..... or whatever other nicknames I just stated.... . My COPD is now moderate to low I would guess, I get to see my pulmo doc in march or may, I can't remember.... I'll have to check my calendar... I take vitamin D and vitamin b-12 (pill form under the tongue) since my mom was diagnosed with lung cancer 2 or 3 yrs ago... and it's just for precaution really. Hope to see you around soon, I only pop in once in a while..... too busy these days!! My husband John is sick and there is bronchitis going around the office, so I need to stock up on more of my lungs vitamins.... I find my breathing different in the last couple of days, so I need to work on this!!! Happy Saturday and talk to you soon!!!
