Had a very pleasant talk with mary today. She sounded so much better than she had before. Said she felt better too, can actually walk to her bathroom. not the rest of the house, still has to be wheeled. She is on Hospice. the doc said the only way she could go home and not to a rehab center was to agree to hospice.
Joe had an appt at the Mayo clinic today to see if any options were available to him. If not, he too will start on hospice.....

Mary; for tonight.... and when you get to read this; I'm only gonna say that for tonight at the very least, I'm thinking about the Dream Catcher. Remember what it means?
Positive thoughts and prayers going out to you and Joe, Mare. I sure hope he got some positive feedback today for both of you.
Love You dear lady...... J

hi everyone, I hadn't talked to Mary in several days and today we talked again..... she seems to have a sinus infection on top of everything else! her hearing in one ear is just about gone and she's hoping it's just all a part of her sinus. don't think she's seen a doc for it but the hospice nurse seems to think this is it. She is more than a little worried about Joe...he is on Hospice also and Mary is hoping that once all the chemo is out've his system he might have a bit of time that he feels better...

Isn't that just the way it goes?!!! Sorry you've got the sinus infection to deal with on top of everything else. Will you be able to get an anti for it, Mary? I guess there was nothing more they could decide to help Joe with, am I taking that the right way since he's on hospice as well? I do hope he gets a chance to feel better with the chemo out of his system. He has fought such a good fight and deserves to feel good for a change.
Love to you both, and continued prayers, ' Sue

Mary sorry about the sinus infection. I am sure hope Joe does do a little better after all the chemo is released from his system. So so hard on you right now. Keep healing.

I missed this post earlier this morning..... And thank you Wendy. I don't know when you'll be up to seeing these posts Mary but you sure do have a lot of love going out to you and Joe. And prayers. Mine included. Every single night. In another day or two I'll print these all off and mail them to you. Then you can read while you're just laying around being a lady of leisure. ;D On the more serious side.... I hope your sinuses clear up soon. It's not nice, especially if it's effecting your ear; possibly your balance a bit too. Maybe it was all that nasty dry stuffy air in the hospital. Anyway; I hope it clears up for you soon. As for Joe; I'll bet you're all hoping (especially him) that he does start feeling a bit stronger and better once all those chemo meds are out of his body. They can be so nasty. My love to you both, Jackie

Dear Mary,
I am keeping you and Joe in my prayers that things get better. Hospice care is not just end of live. It's also to get the help you need, that loved ones cannot give at home. Take Care and God Bless you both.
