I jut got home and say your note.... Thanks Bobbi Well; let's hope that a few treatments and some needed bed rest will do the trick. Linndie; for as much as you want to believe that Rome was built in a day, and in your case a move happens right down to having e'thing in it's place and put away, it just doesn't work that way woman! And; not to be mean becasue you know what's in my heart, but if this is what it takes to slooooow you down a bit and get you healthy and back on track, (and though none of us wants to be in the hospital) I'm, all for it. The house is still gonna be there. And we want you to be there too. So...... let's get you bacl on track O.K.?

went to the Er did not have to stay yet, he drew all around the areas and gave me a new script. Linndie just posted this on the fence, so I guess our prayers were answered quickly. Now I hope she takes it easy and keeps her legs up.so glad u didnt have to stay. hugs Bobbi

The only way those legs are going down are if you keep them up constantly. I know it's not what you what to do, but to heal those spots it's going to be necessary. When I was in the hospital my swelling went down after about 3 days. But it took just about as long as that for them to swell back up when I got home. I would think that if you could get rid of the spots, you would be able to get the compression stockings and keep the swelling under control, to some degree. The stockings help a lot, but aren't the perfect answer unfortunately. I am going Mon. morning for measuring for the new pair of knee highs. I spend my whole day with my legs and feet up and I can get them down pretty well, except my ankles, but as soon as I'm up and moving around they swell back up. Sothe stockings are going to be my only answer.
Hope this helps. Glad you're not in the hospital, you can do the same thing at home as long as you make the decision to just do it. Don't worry about the house and stuff for heaven's sake. Would you like to keep your legs or have them cut off? Don't mean to be brutal, but I'm being honest. Love ya! Sue

Linndie, I'm so glad you made the trip to ER, I know you are happy they didn't keep you in, but you have to do what they told you to the letter. Keep those feet up!! All the rest of the unpacking chores, and seeing everything in its new place can wait. Please take care of yourself.
