Good Evening Everyone, Just a quick update on Susan(Hugahusky). She had several walks down the hall today without any oxygen on and her air stayed between 91 and 94. The nurses were very pleased with her progress. After one of her walks this afternoon when we returned to her room she had a big surprise... her brother Neil was standing there waiting for her to come back to her room. He arrived from Ottawa; he left there Friday and drove to Halifax arriving around noon today. I'm glad he is there for her tomorrow when they do the procedure on the lung ( gluing it to the wall). I have to go home in the morning so this worked out well. I will be calling during the day to see how thing went and when I know, I will let you all know. Well I must go and do some laundry for Sue; so her daughter can take it to the hospital for her.

Glad she levelled off on the oxygen and that she is happy about what the doctors say. I hope this helps with her breathing and that they have found a solution. It is great that she is up and about for abit. Sending healing thoughts out...

Juanita, what wonderful news you bring tonight!!!! Sue sounds great and I'm sure Neil's showing up was a real boost to her mental well being. I know tomorrow's procedure will go well, but I'm sure there's some trepidation there in her as well. I will pray for her and that all goes well. Is she in any pain from the tube? I hope not.
Have a good night Juanita. And thank you for being such a good friend for Sue. You are the best!!!!

Hi Everyone,
Here is the next report; Sue had the procedure done yesterday and she was out of it most of the day as they had given her a happy pill. I talked to her earlier today and she said her breathing went a little off yesterday so she's working on that today and was waiting for her brother to come in. They told her that if everything goes well today that she may be able to go home tomorrow. The Respirologist has told her that he made an appointment with Dr. Hernandez in 4 weeks and that she is to go see him every 6 months. The meds she is on are just fine and she is to keep up with them. Tried to get her allergy test set up quicker but to no luck. She has to have an x-ray to find out if the procedure worked or not. I will post again when I hear anything else; everyone keep your fingers crossed for her.
Juanita

Thanks Juanita.... I'd spoken with Sue a little while ago since we hadn't heard anything yet. But; she did mention that you were gonna update so I've been watching before putting something up as well.
Merci beaucoup madam!
And Sue.... our fingers are crossed that the x ray showed that part of your lung is back, and where it should be!!!

Juanita! This is really good news and I pray that the xrays show everything is just perfectly the way it's supposed to be. I'm sorry Sue's breathing went down some, but I guess that might be expected after the procedure? I have no idea. Hope Sue does get to go home tomorrow...but will she be home alone? That part worries me. Prayers continue, Sue

Good news this morning!!!Can't wait to hear from Sue how she's feeling. I can just imagine how much she wants to go home. The hospital is great when we're in a crisis, but when it's time to go, it's more than time to go, . Thanks again, Juanita, for keeping us informed and in touch. Here's a for each of you...or maybe we could make it a group hug?!!!
